Founded in 2006, Blue Hill Solutions LLC is a privately-held company based in Portland, Oregon. Blue Hill’s founders are leveraging their extensive experience in software development and in enterprise communications to develop a series of products, beginning with Chatter Mill, that help companies empower their people with the information and communications tools they need to be. The company’s consulting arm also provides comprehensive services for e-commerce businesses, from custom development to online marketing and training.
Founders
Nova Newcomer is an internal communication consultant, whose successful experience encouraging safe and open dialogue between managers and employees for a multi-billion dollar global business inspired her to create Chatter Mill. Nova's work on Chatter Mill was recently featured in the Ragan Report, a corporate communications publication.
Nova is also a requested speaker and exhibitor at corporate communication events such as New Communications Forum and Corporate Communicator’s Conference
Peat Bakke is a senior web analyst and engineer whose work with cutting-edge web technology has propelled startups and revitalized traditional businesses. With a focus on people, Peat builds creative solutions for everyday business problems. Peat Bakke provides technical consulting services to web oriented startups and venture capital firms, based on 10 years of web development and startup experience. Peat was a featured contributor to "StackGuard: Automatic Adaptive Detection and Prevention of Buffer-Overflow Attacks" at the USENIX 1998 Security Symposium.
